ColorLogic GmbH and US partner, CrossXColor, Inc Donate 12,000 EUR to Hurricane Victims and WWF
Rheine, Germany— During a very active 2017 hurricane season many people were displaced from their homes and lost everything they owned. Hurricane Harvey severely impacted Texas, Hurricane Irma heavily impacted Florida and Hurricane Maria destroyed Puerto Rico. Both ColorLogic GmbH and CrossXColor, Inc promised to donate a percentage of their product sales in the month of September and October to those impacts by these 3 hurricanes which amounted to 9,000 EUR. With CrossXColor Inc being located in South Florida and in the area of direct impact, it was decided to donate part of the amount to a local organization, Southwest Florida Community Foundation, to help the local community recover. The donations for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Maria were donated to the United Way organization in the respective areas.
The team members of ColorLogic GmbH and it’s US partner CrossXColor Inc. are very environmentally conscience and understand the impact that the financial support of the community can have in prevention of disasters through research and preservation efforts which includes support of organizations such as the Worldwide Wildlife Fund (WWF). The WWF is a unique organization whose mission focuses on several important topics including fresh water, forests, climate, food, wildlife and oceans and at least 85% of their spending of donations is in conservation activities rather than administrative costs. In the fourth quarter of 2017, a total of 3000 EUR was donated by ColorLogic GmbH and CrossXColor Inc to the conservation efforts made by the Worldwide Wildlife Fund.
With a 10% increase in revenue year over year, it only felt right to the company to give back in the best way possible. The ColorLogic GmbH and CrossXColor teams hope that their donations to these organizations have a positive impact in the communities affected by these catastrophes and in the conservation efforts made by WWF.
